The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Board of Revenue (戸部) series of China National Banks in the World Currency contains 38 distinct entries with CPG® values between $400.00 and $19,500.00.

The Taiping Rebellion of 1850 - 1864 was the bloodiest war of the 19th century, claiming up to 50 million victims. To finance the Imperial Army, the 6th Qing Dynasty Emperor, Xian Feng (reigned 1851 - 1861), ordered the printing of the first paper money since the Ming circulating notes (B101) issued some 400 years previously. This paper money came in two types, which were printed and circulated simultaneously: copper cash notes and government notes. Both were issued by 戸部 (Chinese: Households Department, or Board of Revenue, BOR), equivalent to a modern Ministry of Finance, whose administrative purview at the time was population and land censuses, taxation, and the distribution of government revenues.
