The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the $10 Liberty Gold – No Motto (1838–1866) series of Pre-1933 Gold Coinage in the U.S. Coins contains 1 distinct entries with CPG® values between $2,845.52 and $123,500.00.

In 1834, a new design for the half eagle gold coin was introduced with a ribbon binding Liberty's hair, bearing the word LIBERTY, replaced the previous liberty cap design. The motto was omitted from the reverse. The so-called "Classic Head" series was short lived (1838-1840) with coins struck in Philadelphia, Charlotte, and Dahlonega.
