The Greysheet Catalog (GSID) of the Qatar and Dubai Currency Board series of Qatar and Dubai in the World Currency contains 18 distinct entries with CPG® values between $35.00 and $63,000.00.

From 1959 until 1966, Qatar used the Indian rupee as currency, in the form of Gulf rupees. When India devalued the rupee, Qatar adopted the Saudi riyal from 11 June 1966, until 18 September 1966, at which time the Qatar and Dubai Currency Board (QDCB) introduced the Qatar-Dubai riyal. The Saudi riyal was worth 1.065 rupees, while the Qatar-Dubai riyal was equal to the rupee prior to its devaluation.
