CAC approved and CACG encapsulated coins fared well in public sales during the month of July 2026.
This is a very obscrure rarity. When last reported by Ken Potter in 2018 (Numismatic News), only 4 coins had been reported in since first discovered 10 years earlier. As of 2026 no public sales records exist so be especially careful with valuation.
Instead of correctly reading: “2007 S – E PLURIBUS UNUM – IN GOD WE TRUST,” the edges on the error dollars read, “2007 S – IN GOD WE TRUST – E PLURIBUS UNUM.” Raised vertical lines can be seen on the edge of the 2007 and 2008 proof Presidential dollars representing where a bit of metal squeezes out between each edge collar segment during striking. There are also two very weak deliminator dots, one preceding the date and another following UNUM.
Obverse Description
Portrait of the President with his name at the top periphery, and term details (number and years served) at the bottom.
Reverse Description
The statue of Liberty spans the design from lower right to upper left with a large "$1" in the right field. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA spans the periphery from 7-3 o'clock.
