2006-S Silver Proof Set Cent-$1 PR 10 Coins Values

Details

Original Packaging: The packaging options for this year’s silver sets were similar to those used in 2005, allowing for the single nickel in place of the two. The five silver quarters could again be purchased separately.

A popular accessory offered by the Mint has been attractive storage boxes for holding its various Proof set offerings. Made of sturdy blue cardboard, these boxes come in three internal configurations to accommodate the differing numbers of plastic holders for each year’s sets. All three configurations hold 10 sets and have soft linings to avoid scratching the plastic. The lid of each box is printed with the U.S. Mint seal and the words UNITED STATES MINT.

Commentary: This set was another winner in terms of quality. It has held its value relatively well, but there has been no big score for buyers as there was with some of the early sets in the 50 State Quarters® Program.
