1943-D/D Steel, Repunched Mintmark One Cent MS FS-513 Values

Details

This popular repunched mintmark variety is popular with Lincoln cent enthusiasts. While not necessarily rare, they are nevertheless scarce in all grades, commanding strong premiums even in well-circulated condition. While there are hundreds of repunched mintmark varieties among the Lincoln cent series, the 1943 D/D is probably the most popular, most widely collected of all.

Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.

Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
