1928-S Large S One Cent MS BN FS-501 Values

Details

A semi-key of the Lincoln cent series, the 1928-S Lincoln isn't actually all that rare, even with Red-Brown and Red coloration in the lower Mint State grades. However, typical of pre-1930 S-mint Lincoln cents, the coin becomes remarkably tough in MS65 and higher, regardless of color designation.

Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.

Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
