Morgan’s familiar Liberty Head with different border, here with E PLURIBUS to the left, seven stars above, UNUM to the right, and date 1879 below (flanked by two stars to the left and four to the right).
Reverse Description
Large perched eagle holding an olive branch (with seven leaves) and three arrows, styled after Morgan’s 1878 work on $5 patterns. IN GOD WE TRUST in arc around lower part of eagle. Around border, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / QUARTER DOLLAR.
