Obverse Description
Stars 1 and 13 about ½ mm. from Dr. and curl OBV. 2. S1UE, S7LH-TOC, S8C, S13LE. Stars 1, 8, and 13 are all approximately ½ mm. from drapery, cap and curl. Date is 8 mm. and evenly spaced.
Reverse Description
RI joined solid at base REV. B. A1C, A2LE, A3UE. 50 C. is 2 ¼ mm. A-A is 1 ¼ mm. Left sides of T-I in line. Line 1 of stripe 4 extends far below border of shield and line 3 of stripe 6 to second crossbar. Also a vertical line is visible through 3 upper crossbars, just right of center. This reverse was first used in 1824. (See O.106) (66,65,64,64,63) R.1
