Obverse Description
Date a close 7 ½ mm. 2 is low OBV. 3. S1LE, S7C-UEHb, S8LH, S13C. Stars large. S1 is 1 ¼ mm. Dr. S13 is ¼ mm. C. Date is 7 ½ mm. 2 is distinctly lower than 183. Small indented center dot. Some show a small crack at star 7. This, as well as most other 1823's have many specimens exhibiting a variety of double and even triple profiles.
Reverse Description
A's have no inside serifs on right REV. D. A1B, A2UE, A3LH. 50 C. is 2 mm. Center dot between crossbars 4 and 5. A-A is ¾ mm. Bottom crossbar extends right past border of shield. I centered under right side of T. (67,65,64,64,63) R.3
