Obverse Description
Stars on left sharp, on right flat OBV. 3. S1B, S7LE-LHC, S8LE, S13 SC. PT. C. Date is a wide 9 ½ mm., medium in size, and figures slant to left. All regular 1812's have a large 8.
Reverse Description
Two small dots below I in AMERICA; One dot below U in UNITED REV. B. A1UH, A2UH, A3LE. 50 C. is 2 mm. A-A is ½ mm. Center dot between crossbars 4 and 5 at left. A patch of fine diagonal lines in circle between left wing and eagle's head, may be visible only on XF or higher specimens. Some show a die crack from C. in 50 C. through olive leaves to top of U in UNITED. O in OF broadly recut at lower left outside. (67,66,65,65,65) R.1
