Obverse Description
OBV. 7. S1LH, S7B-CC, S8UH, S13UE. Star 13 SC. PT. toward curl. Mouth broad and slightly open. Date is 9 ¾ mm. With small and relatively thick figures.
Reverse Description
Line 1 of stripe 5 below shield REV. L. A1UH, A2B, A3LH. Usually no milling or at best only a trace. 50 C. is 1 ½ mm. and low. A-A is ¾ mm. Legend is struck rather flat, especially AMERICA. Right side of D is in line with left serifs of E. I is centered under right side of T. Small center dot between crossbars 4 and 5. Line 1 of stripe 5 extends slightly below border of shield and is diagnostic. (65,64,64,63,62) R.2
