Obverse: No defects at stars, S11UH OBV. 8. S1C, S7UE-CC, S8LE, S13LE. Date is 9 ½ mm. 18 is wider than 809 and 9 leans sharply to right. Ball of 9 is 1 ¼ mm. from 0, Late die states show a die crack joining all stars on left. Very late die states show a retained cud starting just left of 1 in date skirting the drapery touching two outer points of star 1 to rim.
Reverse: N in UNITED recut, long straight tool mark from corner of shield REV. E. A1LH, A2LE, A3UE. 50 C. is 2 ¼ mm. A-A is ½ mm. Center dot between crossbars 4 and 5. A straight die line extends upward for 3 mm. from corner of shield into right wing. Longer and straighter than the one on reverse B, although this one may not show on worn specimens. N is recut at left stand. I is centered below T. Late die states show a crack from D to ST. (66,65,65,63,63) R.3
