Stack’s Bowers Galleries is proud to present the Physical Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Session of their Summer 2026 Showcase Auction. Live bidding will take place over Labor Day weekend on Saturday, September 5 at 4:00 PM PDT (7:00 PM EDT), with pre-bidding currently available online at www.StacksBowers.com. This sale arrives on the heels of the firm’s highly successful June 2026 crypto auction, which realized nearly $600,000 in total prices and achieved industry-leading premiums. Driven by strong market momentum and collector demand, Stack’s Bowers Galleries is excited to bookend their summer auction season with another landmark crypto offering.
The upcoming sale features classic rarities from Casascius, BTCC, and Lealana alongside low-mintage modern issues by Kialara, MyBits, Satori, Polymerbit, 1HoDLCLUB, VIP Bitcoins, Finite By Design, Freedom Bitcoin, Crypto Imperator, and others. The Casascius series is represented by a premier type set of silver and brass denominations spanning the 0.5 BTC and 1 BTC issues, including Top Pop examples of the 2013 0.5 BTC in brass (MS-68 NGC), the 2012 1 BTC in brass (MS-68 PCGS), and the 2013 1 BTC in silver (PR-69 Deep Cameo PCGS). A powerful selection of Lealana coins includes a matched 2013 three-coin set (#51) containing the 0.1 BTC, 0.25 BTC, and 1 BTC denominations. The BTCC coins display an assortment of rare Titanium and Poker Chip issues across all denominations, including the elusive Black 0.1 BTC and rare Purple 0.5 BTC. Beyond the conventional coins, the auction also boasts a remarkable lineup of collectible crypto banknotes from Polymerbit, LuckyFool, Bitcoin Suisse, and PaperSafe.
“Heading into our fifth consecutive Summer Global Showcase auction spotlighting physical bitcoins, it is clear that collectors are embracing these scarce and innovative pieces alongside traditional numismatic rarities,” said James McCartney, Director of Consignments and Numismatics.
