Rare Currency and Rich Local Heritage Highlight the Newest Location for the Numismatic Auction House.
The 1930 Standing Liberty Quarter Philadelphia Mint is a fantastic type coin for the series. Collectability begins at the high-end AU range and remains very accessible up until the gem level. MS66 is considered scarce with anything finer being a truly great rarity. Along with the accessibility and affordability, this date also comes with a strong strike, quality luster and even some gorgeous toning making it a great FH type coin.
Obverse Description
MacNeil's Liberty stands with one hand holding an olive branch, the other bearing a shield. A ribbon connects the branch to the shield. The world LIBERTY appears across the top periphery and the date is centered at the bottom. 13 stars appear to the side of Liberty. Mint mark, if any, is positioned above the date to the left of Liberty.
Reverse Description
An eagle in full flight, facing right, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above the great raptor. Stars flank the left and right peripheries with the words QUARTER DOLLAR at the bottom.
