Charles Barber's depiction of Liberty is portrayed facing right with motto IN GOD WE TRUST and 13 stars around the periphery. The date centered at the bottom.

Reverse Description

An eagle with wings fully spread holding a ribbon in its beak bearing the words E PLURIBUS UNUM. In its talons the bird holds an olive branch and arrows. Stars appear in the field above the eagle and the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA * QUARTER DOLLAR appear around the periphery.
