Obverse Description

Defect lines along milling left of date

OBV. 15. S1UE, S7C-CHb, S8LH, S13UH. S1 is ¾ mm. Dr. S13 is ¼ mm. C. Date is 8 ½ mm. There are several raised die defect lines parallel to the milling, under end of the bust and left of the date. S6 and S7 further apart than S1 through S6 and S8 and S9 further apart than S9 through S13. (See O.120)

Reverse Description

AT joined at base, ED very close

REV. K. A1UE, A2B, A3B. 50 C. is 1 ¼ mm. and high, with a very large C. A-A is slightly less than ½ mm. Right side of T and left side of I in line. A tiny horizontal tool mark to right of the center apex of shield. Several lines of stripes 1 through 5 extend into crossbars with line 1 of stripe 5 penetrating to crossbar 5.
